Let It Flow Let It Flow

Reaper has a pretty nice introduction to thinning paint here. I struggle a lot with getting the "right" consistancy to my paints, and this article helps a lot...

WinterGaunt

I'm starting to work on my bugs. I've decided to go with a winter theme... Macragge, Ultramarines and all that. Here's a phtoshopped pic of what I'm thinking:

I'm working on a test figure, and it's turning out pretty well. Hopefully, it'll be finished tomorrow night so I can post pics.

Oh, and I've got to get back to the Volscani Cataphracts too. Zgames is having a RTT on May 1st and I'd like to play them.

JollyOrk's Seattle GT 2004 Army

JollyOrk has posted a batrep summary and army feature of his Seattle GT'04 at JollyOrk's Seattle GT 2004 Army.

He gives a great breakdown of each of the units in his army, complete with pix and conversion descriptions. Check it out.

Oooops.

Screwed up my Blogger template. Joy.

03/04/04: Close, but not close enough

On the Thursday night prior to the GT, at midnight, I realized I wasn't going to make it. I counted up the work remaining and came up with at least another 8 hours of work -- and that was to just get to a barely acceptable level. I threw in the towel and took my Imperial Fists.

I had a great time, it was really good to meet some of you who have been reading this blog (actually, blogging can seem very unrewarding at times; it was nice to see that there really *are* people out there reading and enjoying this :-)

My new goal is to have a new army ready for the upcoming Zgames RTT on May 5th. I'm thinking of taking either the LatD, or throwing together my Tyranids. I'll post more when I decide what to do... knowing me, I'll try to do both and end up with neither ready ;-)
